AND
HOMOSEXUALITY
Thoughtful
Christians
who
live
by the golden rule of John 13: 34 consider
that directive from Jesus in the context of our real world. Turning on
the radio, or picking up a magazine, one is inundated with a variety of
opinions about society and homosexuality. Scripture is frequently
invoked to substantiate opinions covering the gamut of all possible
actions and reactions.What does the
Bible say about homosexuality? Clicking on that link will
direct you to a thoughtful study and may provide a starting point, if
not an ending to your questions.

Texas School District
Fully
Vindicates
Christian Student After Wrongful Suspension
October 11, 2011
Liberty
Alerts, Liberty Counsel
The Fort Worth Independent School District has
issued a letter
to Liberty Counsel
fully vindicating high school freshman Dakota Ary, who was given
in-school
suspension for telling another student that he believes homosexuality
is wrong
because of his Christian faith. The letter is in response to Liberty
Counsel’s
demand letter requesting full vindication and a full retraction of the
suspension. The district’s letter will be placed in Dakota’s permanent
file to
further clear his record. Liberty Counsel is representing Dakota in
this case.
The District’s letter apologized for the delay in
returning
Dakota back to
the classroom, and stated that “Dakota has the right to express an
opinion in a
manner consistent with law and policy.”

ACLU behind Illinois' forced

- Annual report of state
chapter shows it was top legislative priority for 2005
A controversial amendment to the Illinois Human Rights Act, extending
anti-discrimination protection on the basis of sexual orientation, was
pushed vigorously in the legislature by the state chapter of the
American Civil Liberties Union.
The law, signed by Gov. Rod Blagojevich last week, allows no exemptions
for people or institutions with religious convictions against sodomy,
cross-dressing, adultery, sex changes, pornography, incest, group sex
or even bestiality.
Some are suggesting the amendment is setting up a clash with the First
Amendment protections of religious freedom.
